Brown and White Ventures Investment Criteria
- Ideation/Incubation Stage: Entrepreneurs have an idea they wish to share, and potentially incubate with other entrepreneurs/industry experts or business specific executives. They may be looking for small seed funding to bring their idea to life.
- Start-Up/Post-Business Plan Stage: Business plan is completed and there is some vetting that has occurred to support and prop-up the ideation. Goes beyond concept into company construction.
- Early Stage: Company has been formed legally, there is a business plan in place and being incorporated into the company. Product has been developed or is in the development stage. Pro formas have been created and a revenue plan is put into a time-line.
- Pre-Revenue: Product/service is completed, sales/marketing programs have been approved, regulatory requirements, if required are in the queue or approved. Hiring is completed or ongoing. Product(s) launch imminent.
- Early Revenue: Product(s) launch has occurred. Company is actively selling. Budgets and revenue runs have been created. Staff is in place.
- Women & Minority-Owned Businesses: Disruptive business models that set it apart from competitors and bridge the gap for diverse entrepreneurs through mentorship and networking.
